At A Glance: How Our Teachers Light The Way!

MRS.  SANDRA KAUFMANN---PRE 3-4 AND PRE 4-5/Kindergarten Monday, Wednesday, & Friday

“I teach preschool at St. Mary’s Catholic School.  St. Mary’s offers students a positive, faith filled learning environment.  I enjoy working with St. Mary’s youngest students because they are so enthusiastic about learning.  Each day is unique because the students bring their own set of interests to class.  I feel that a positive learning and teaching environment is very important to each student’s education and becoming a lifelong learner.”

MRS. TWYLAH TEICH---FIRST AND SECOND GRADE/Kindergarten Tuesday & Thursday

“Pine City has been my life long residence and I enjoy being a part of the educational team in Pine City.  I especially feel blessed to work at St. Mary’s School in a family atmosphere where we partner with parents to provide a faith-based and excellent academic experience.”

MRS. KRISTA KIELTY---THIRD AND FOURTH GRADE

“At St. Mary’s School there is a great atmosphere that I think can’t compare to anywhere else.  The kids are well behaved and have a calling to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.  I also love celebrating at Christmas time with our annual Christmas play.  It is so much hard work but very rewarding.  I think another great thing about working here is the staff are so great to work with and very genuine.  We are all here for each other and for our students.  It is like one big close knit family.  I love that I can help children’s faith grow and mine also!”

MR. KEITH LINZMEIER

“Working at St. Mary’s allows me to practice my faith with the students on a daily basis.  The students’ participate in the weekly masses which allow them to strengthen their faith and is a large asset to St. Mary’s.  I enjoy the smaller class sizes.  Class size enables me to work with the students on a much closer level.  Another positive is I am able to get to know each student and most of the families which wouldn’t happen at a bigger school.”
